HO SCALE WIG WAG SIGNALS

5001 Wig wag grade crossing signals     $6.95

A non operating HO scale wig wag grade crossing signal to go along with all those good looking steam locomotives that are so popular.  It is injection molded with lots of detail, and has decals and brass poles included.  Two signals, one grade crossing's worth, are included in the kit.  Click the photo to enlarge it and use the back button on your browser to return.

OPERATING WIGWAG SIGNALS IN HO SCALE

These are our 5001 signals with an under table drive that uses Rayon thread to work the signals nearly invisibly.  The system has been tested for over 9000 30 second signal cycles without failure or excessive wear.  Here are some more details of the kits:

Signals operate at prototype speed and stop straight down.

Kits are offered with or without a grade crossing detector.
    The detector works with trains traveling in either direction at any speed
    using small imbedded track switches.  Additional tracks only require
     additional switches.  Adjustment is provided for the timing of the
    signal shutoff after the train goes by.

12V DC is required for the detector and 2 "D" cells power the signal
    drive for over 30 hours of signaling.

Assembly can be done in one or two evenings.

5400 Wigwag Signal without Detector.........................$35.95

            4 momentary switches to trigger events as the train goes by.  Use it for
        more than one track in a grade crossing or to start scenic sound effects, whistles, etc.

STRUCTURES AND LINESIDE EQUIPMENT

5100 HO Sand Tower     $12.95 Similar design to many in the US and Canada.  Features operating counterweighted sand delivery arms and photoetched ladder cage and handrails.  May be built with one or two delivery arms to serve from one to four tracks.  Suitable for early to modern day diesels.

 

5200 HO Snyder Fuel Crane     $5.95 Tooled from Snyder Company's drawings, these are operating fueling stations that plug into your diesel's fuel filler.  Piping is hinged in two places so the crane can operate in a large area.  Two highly detailed fuel cranes per package.  A modern fueling station used in large or small service areas.
